About Krystal
Krystal Sheridan is dedicated to serving the residents of Penticton. As a lifelong local, small business owner, wife, and proud mother of a son serving in the Canadian Navy, she believes in the power of community engagement.
Her campaign, “Krystal For Penticton,” is built on the principles of transparency, responsible governance, and active listening. Krystal’s vision is to foster a thriving, welcoming community where every voice matters, local businesses can flourish, and Penticton remains a place we are proud to call home.
Why I am running
Born and raised in Penticton. Local business owner. Wife. Mom. And someone who genuinely cares about the community I call home.
Penticton has always been home to me.
I was born and raised here, and my family roots in this community run deep. I’ve watched Penticton grow and change throughout my life, and I’ve seen the things that make this city such a special place — our neighbourhoods, our small businesses, our beautiful surroundings, and most importantly, the people who call Penticton home.
As a local small business owner, I’ve experienced firsthand both the rewards and the challenges of building a business here. I understand how important it is for local businesses to feel supported, for residents to feel heard, and for decisions made at City Hall to make sense for the people who live and work in our community.
I’m running for City Council because I care deeply about where Penticton is headed. I want to be someone residents can talk to, someone who listens before making decisions, and someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions when something doesn’t make sense.
I’m not looking at City Council as a stepping stone to another level of government. I’m stepping forward because I want to serve Penticton. This is my home, and I want to put my time, energy, and experience into making our community better.
My priorities are simple:
- Listen to residents and make sure their voices are heard at City Hall.
- Support local businesses and the people who work hard to keep our local economy moving.
- Respect taxpayers and make thoughtful, responsible decisions with public money.
- Plan for growth carefully while protecting the character and qualities that make Penticton special.
- Work toward a safer, cleaner and welcoming community for families, seniors, businesses, and future generations.
I don’t believe you need to have a political career to care about your community. Sometimes you just have to be willing to step up, listen, work hard, and do your part.
Penticton isn’t just where I live. It’s where I grew up, where I built my life, where I raised my family, and where I want to see future generations thrive.
I’m running because I believe our community deserves a strong local voice — and I’m ready to be that voice.
